Step-by-step: How to order

1. Log in and start from the homepage

Go to manymore.com and log in to your account.

After logging in, you’ll land on the homepage. Click "Create" in the main menu, or use the "Order check" shortcut to start a new background check.

2. Choose the right type of check

You’ll be presented with two main options: Packages and Individual checks.

Packages are designed to match different levels of responsibility. This makes it easy to order several relevant checks at once.

What is a Criminal record certificate?

A criminal record certificate is a document issued by the police that shows whether you have any recorded remarks in the criminal records. The certificate only includes information relevant to the specific purpose for which you are applying, such as working with children, finances, or positions of trust.

The certificate is sent to you personally. It is not automatically shared with the employer, you must upload it to the portal yourself.

What is a purpose declaration?

To apply for a criminal record certificate, the police require a purpose declaration, a document confirming why the certificate is needed and which law or regulation it is based on.

When is it legal to require a police certificate?

A police certificate can only be requested when there is a valid legal basis established by law or regulation.
It is not allowed to request a certificate "just in case" or based on general concern.

How do i use e-signatures?

With e-signing, you can easily collect signatures on agreements and documents.
You’ll find the service under “E-signatures” in the main menu.

Getting started

Open the menu and select E-signatures
In the dashboard, click “Send document for signing”

Choose a signing method

You can choose between:

Standard e-signing
All recipients sign the same document. Signing is done via email or (coming soon) BankID.
Group signing
Each recipient signs their own copy of the document — perfect for larger groups.

How to send a document for signing

Upload the document to be signed
You can upload one or more PDF documents. They will be automatically merged into a single file.
Give the document a title
Choose a clear title that recipients will understand.
Add recipients
Enter the email addresses of the people who need to sign.
Select a signature method

Standard: The user types or draws their signature with mouse or finger
BankID signing: Coming soon

Add a message and CC (optional)
Write a short message to the recipients and optionally add people who should receive a copy.
Send the invitation
Click Send — the recipients will receive an email with a link to the document.

Criminal record certificate for applicants under 18

A criminal record certificate is required for certain jobs and volunteer roles, including for those under the age of 18.

If you are between 15 and 18 years old, you must follow the same application process as adults, but you also need to include a confirmation from a parent or guardian.

What do I need to do?

Get a purpose declaration
You will receive this from your employer or via the Manymore portal. It is required in order to apply.
Fill out and sign the confirmation form
A parent or legal guardian must sign a self-declaration form.
Apply for a police certificate
Go to politiet.no/politiattest, log in, and attach both the purpose declaration and the signed confirmation form.

How does identity verification work?

The method used to verify identity depends on the candidate’s background and country of residence.

Norwegian candidates

Log in using BankID, which automatically confirms their identity.

Other Nordic candidates

Use their national electronic ID (such as MitID in Denmark, FTN in Finland, or eID in Sweden).

Other international candidates

Complete document-based verification, which includes:

Uploading a valid ID document (passport or national ID card)
A selfie
The system compares the document and photo, and checks for signs of tampering

Manymore can verify ID documents from over 200 countries and territories.

Is it secure?

Yes. The verification is performed with high technical security and in compliance with GDPR and other relevant laws. All information is handled confidentially and only by authorized personnel.

It’s quick and easy to set up your company’s whistleblowing channel so you can receive reports and feedback.

Go to the ‘Set up whistleblowing channel’ dashboard → Set up the channel for your company.

1. Add case handlers

You should have at least two case handlers — these are the people responsible for processing incoming reports.

To add a case handler, the person must already be part of your team (you can do this under Settings).
Also include their role, such as board chair or employee representative.

2. Add whistleblowing procedures (optional)

Click ‘Your whistleblowing procedures’.
Here you can write your own guidance or download our ready-to-use generic template and upload it.

📌 All companies with more than 5 employees are required to have their own whistleblowing procedures.

3. Spread the word!

Copy the link to your whistleblowing page and share it on:

Social media
Newsletters

In the right-hand menu, you’ll also find:
