How do I create a check?
Ordering a background check in Manymore is simple and flexible. You can choose from predefined packages or individual checks, depending on how thorough the evaluation needs to be for the role.
Step-by-step: How to order
1. Log in and start from the homepage
Go to manymore.com and log in to your account.
After logging in, you’ll land on the homepage. Click "Create" in the main menu, or use the "Order check" shortcut to start a new background check.
2. Choose the right type of check
You’ll be presented with two main options: Packages and Individual checks.
Packages are designed to match different levels of responsibility. This makes it easy to order several relevant checks at once.
Package | Description |
---|---|
Basic | The minimum level all employers should require. Includes: ID check, education, and employment verification. |
Standard | Suitable for most roles. Includes everything in the Basic package, plus search in open sources and business interests |
Extended | For highly trusted roles. Includes everything in the Standard package, plus a credit check, specific source search and country affiliation check |
📌 Rule of thumb: The more responsibility the role involves, the more thorough the check should be.
You can also choose individual checks, such as ID verification or a police certificate — useful when you only need to check one specific factor.
3. Add candidates
Once you've chosen the type of check, enter the details for the candidates.
You can:
- Add candidates one by one manually
- Or upload many at once using Excel import (template available in the portal)
Make sure to include the full name and email address of each candidate. This is required to send out the invitation.
4. Customize your order
Before submitting, you’ll have a chance to specify any relevant details:
For example, if you're verifying education, you can indicate which degree or institution to focus on.
You may also add any other notes relevant to the check.
This helps us carry out the process as accurately and efficiently as possible.
5. Review and submit
In the final step, you’ll see a summary of your order:
You’ll be able to review the selected checks, the entered information, and edit the message that will be included in the invitation to the candidate.
When everything looks good, click "Confirm and Send".
The invitation will be sent to the candidates and you’re done!
6. We’ll handle the rest
Once the invitation is sent:
- The candidate receives an email and logs into the Manymore portal
- We complete all checks and follow up on any missing data
- You can track the progress directly in the portal
You don’t need to do anything else — we’ll keep you updated and ensure everything is verified.
