How do I follow up on a background check as a customer?
After sending a background check in Manymore, you can easily track its progress, from the invitation to the final report. All follow-up happens in the portal, where you have full visibility of statuses, dates, and completed reports.
Where can I find the status?
- Log in to manymore.com
- Go to your team account via the menu on the right
- Click "Overview" in the main menu
- You’ll now see a table of all ongoing and completed checks
Below is an example of the overview page in Manymore, where you can search for candidates and track their status.
From here, you can:
- Search for candidates by name or email
- Filter by department or status (e.g. “Waiting for candidate”)
- See which steps have been completed
- Click on a candidate to view more details
What do the statuses mean?
Status | What it means |
---|---|
Invitation sent | The candidate received the email but has not started yet |
Waiting for candidate | The candidate has started but hasn’t completed or given consent |
In progress | The candidate is done — we are verifying the information |
Completed | All checks are completed, and the report is ready |
Completed with remark | The report contains one or more remarks or missing confirmations |
Declined by candidate | The candidate has declined to participate |
Cancelled / no response | The check was stopped due to lack of response |
Where can I find the report?
Once a check is completed, you’ll receive an email from Manymore notifying you that the report is ready.
To open the report:
- Click the "Go to account" button in the email
- You’ll be taken directly to the candidate in the portal
- There, you can view and download the report as a PDF
- Additional options are available under the "Actions" menu
You can also access the report directly via Overview at manymore.com once logged in.
Follow-up tips
- You don’t need to send reminders — we follow up automatically
- Use the status filter in the overview to see what's in progress or completed
- Reports can easily be downloaded from the platform
