How do I upload a criminal record certificate?

Have you received a request to submit a police certificate via Manymore.com?

Here’s how to proceed.

The first thing that happens is that you will receive an email from Manymore.com on behalf of your organization asking you to submit a police certificate.

What steps will I go through?

The process is structured like this:

  1. Welcome and accept the terms of use
  2. Consent to share data with the organization that invited you
  3. ID check with BankID
  4. Optional: Document read confirmation (if required by your organization)
  5. Police certificate
  6. Optional: E-learning course

Step by step

Welcome and accept terms of use

When you log in for the first time, you will be asked to accept Manymore’s terms of use.

You must consent to sharing your data with the organization that invited you.

This is required in order to continue the process.

You can contact us at any time to have your data deleted.

ID check with BankID

After giving consent, you must identify yourself with BankID.

Once the identification is completed, you will see a confirmation on the screen.

Read confirmation (if applicable)

If your organization has uploaded a document (for example, an instruction or handbook), you may be asked to confirm that you have read it.

Police certificate

Now you are ready to either apply for a new police certificate or upload an existing one.

If you need to apply for a new certificate:

  • Download the purpose confirmation from the portal (Manymore has pre-filled this for you).
  • Click through to 👉 politiet.no/politiattest.
  • Log in with BankID.
  • Select category and purpose – this information is shown on the confirmation you downloaded.
  • Upload the confirmation at politiet.no before submitting your application.

The police normally process the application within 2–14 days. You will receive the certificate in Digipost (or by regular mail if you don’t have Digipost).

Upload the certificate in Manymore

When you have received the police certificate:

  • Open the link in the email you received from Manymore.com
  • You will be redirected to the correct step in the portal
  • Click Upload and select the document (PDF from Digipost or a clear photo)
  • Confirm the upload

Valid / approved police certificate

Before a police certificate can be approved, it is checked against the following criteria:

  • Name and national ID number match the candidate
  • The certificate is no older than 3 months
  • The document is complete and readable
  • The certificate contains the text “No remarks”
  • The certificate shows a valid legal basis

Finished 🎉

Congratulations – you have now submitted your police certificate!
