What happens if the candidate doesn’t respond?
If a candidate does not respond to the background check invitation, you don’t need to take any manual action.
Manymore automatically follows up through the portal and via reminders, so the process continues without you having to reach out yourself.
Automatic follow-up
When an invitation is sent, the following happens:
- The candidate receives an email with a personal login link
- If the candidate does not log in within a short time, a reminder is sent by email
You can always track the status in the portal:
- "Invitation sent" – the candidate has not yet logged in
- "Waiting for candidate" – the candidate has started but not completed the process
What can you do?
Although we follow up with the candidate, you may also:
- Contact the candidate directly if it’s urgent
- Double-check that the email address used is correct
- Contact us for more insight into our follow-up attempts
If the candidate does not respond after multiple reminders, the check will be closed and marked with a remark as "no response".
