Who is Manymore and what do you offer?

Manymore is a Norwegian provider of digital background checks. We help organizations carry out professional, fair, and legally compliant checks of information during recruitment processes. Our goal is to give our customers a reliable basis for decision-making and ensure a safe and predictable process for the candidate.

We were established with a clear mission: to make background checks as efficient, safe, and simple as possible. Many experience the process as cumbersome, unpredictable, and dependent on manual procedures. We wanted to make it easier for both customers and candidates by offering a digital, structured, and fair solution where the candidate understands what is happening and why.

What do we do?

We provide a comprehensive, digital solution for background checks:

Companies can order and follow the process in our portal
Candidates receive clear information and have control over their own data
All steps are documented and fulfill GDPR and security requirements

We do not assess, rank, or recommend – we verify.

Our role in the process

Manymore is an independent verification provider and:

Verifies the information the customer wants to check
Follows clear routines and only checks what is relevant
Ensures that the candidate is informed and consents before anything happens

We never assess whether someone is “fit” for a position – that is the employer’s responsibility.

The customer is also the data controller for the check. This means the customer is responsible for:

Assessing whether there is a legitimate need for a background check
Documenting the legal basis before ordering checks that require it
Ensuring that the checkpoints are relevant to the position

Our role is to make the process predictable and fair, with respect for both parties.

How do we ensure security and privacy?

We comply with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Norwegian information security requirements. Some key principles we follow:

Consent: Nothing happens without the candidate’s explicit approval
Purpose limitation: Only information relevant to the position is checked
Secure processing: All data is encrypted and deleted according to clear deadlines
Limited access: Only relevant personnel have access, and all access is logged

We act as a data processor on behalf of the customer and always operate within what is agreed upon and legally required.
