What is our role?

The customer is also the data controller for the background check. This means the client is responsible for:

- Ensuring the checkpoints are relevant to the role
Our role is to make the process predictable and fair, with respect for both parties.
Is it legal?
Yes. Background checks are permitted as long as:
- There is a legitimate need related to the role
- There is a legal basis, such as consent
- There is a clear scope of what is being checked
